we receive many questions at our office each and every day and I thought I would address these questions on this site with the hopes that it may help some of the visitors and readers here.
The person calling was inquiring about the possibility of getting hair to regrow near some recently formed scar tissue as a result of an accident. unfortunately, cicatricial alopecia ( a hairless area resulting from scar tissue formation) is permanent and very little can be done to remedy the situation. Some peripheral hair growth may occur immediately surrounding the scar but you can generally count on hair not growing or regrowing on the scar tissue itself.
Thanks.
