What is the primary factor in determining which haircare product you purchase? In drugstores, salons and even at Beauty Industry Trade Shows, the most prevalent action in determining the value of a product is to open the bottle and sniff. Companies spend huge amounts of money on bottle selection, design, name selection, Logos, Formulating, testing, packaging, sizing, colors and advertising, yet it usually comes down to a sniff. Ironically, especially from a professional stylists' standpoint this should be one of the last or least important factors, as fragrance (and color) are usually the culprits should skin irritation develop. The bottom line is that the best cosmetic or beauty care product for you may not be the overly- scented, bright flourescent pink stuff that grabbed the attention of your eyes and nose.
Happy Shopping!
