INTRO

Hello to all. My name is John and although I do work at Nisim International--a Manufacturer of Haircare products, I will do my very best to be as objective and generic in all of my correspondences on this site and promise to keep any mention of Nisim Products to an absolute minimum! Lets discuss any Hair and nail related topics that you may want to explore.

John.

I have been using the nisim shampoo for a while now and am wondering if Nioxin is similiar to Nisim?? I am not having great results with the Nisim products as far as regrowth.

To Joost: Usually it takes 3-6 months for visual results. The most important part of the system is the "proper" application of the products. Double wash and rinse with the shampoo and massage (NOT RUB) the Scalp Treatment into the scalp twice a day. Rubbing will cause breakage of the fine velus hair growing in.

To Spoiled: The Nisim and Nioxin products are NOT similar. They each target different approach to helping combat thinning hair.
Please note that the shampoo is designed to help reduce and control excessive hairloss only......the strengthening and regrowth requires the Scalp Treatment to be used in conjunction with the shampoo.

Thanks for your interest.

I receive many comments and concerns, regarding the appearance of thinning hair or a receding hairline, from people that tend to be overly aggressive with their brushing, combing or pulling back their hair to achieve a severe or tight pony tail or braids. Although this is a problem usually associated with longer hair and especially with curly and unruly hair, it is imperative to be aware of the fact that REPETATIVELY pulling hair out of the scalp can very well lead to that hair not growing back. Take care to condition properly and carefully work through tangles.......it takes a few moments longer but is well worth it!

Dear John

I would like to know what makes nisim a better product than nioxin?

will the effect of the Scalp Treatment suffer if you apply it more than 2 times a day ? I'm doin it 3 times.

Dear anonymous,
The 2 brands are quite different in their approach and effect regarding thinning/hair loss. Nioxin has morphed into a line with over 60 products so you should narrow down to the items most relevant to your needs.
I would also suggest comparing provable efficacy and Product Guarantees.

Thanks.

Dear Anonymous,

I would suggest sticking with the 2 times a day application as the extra application may yield only a marginal improvement over 2 times per day.

We have found that TWICE a day application of the Scalp Extract is optimal.

Good Luck!

I am a 26 year old female I have recently purchased Nisim shampoo and scalp treatment due to excessive hair loss and receding hairline at both temples and at my neck.
I usually wash my hair every morning and then blow dry with a volumising product and finish off with mousse and hairspray. Am I still able to follow this routine?

i have just purchsed the nisim shampoo, conditioner and extract. what i need clarification on is how many times do you have to use the shampoo a day. It says to use "extract twice a day, and it says to shampoo before using "extract"- does this mean i have to shappo twice a day before each application of the "extract"???

thanks!

For Anonymous posted on Aug,2....Use whatever styling products you feel are necessary just remember that less is best in this case and try to keep the styling products away from the scalp and as near the hair ends as possible.

Thanks.

For goboy: You do not have to shampoo before each Extract application. As long as the scalp is clean, the Extract can be applied. Remember to massage rather than rub the Extract into the scalp.

Thanks.

Will the Nisim products, help with the hair roots that are turning to gray ? What is your feedback on grey hair appearing ?
